Have you ever heard of BOB double jogging stroller? If you haven't, it's basically a baby stroller but with a modification. You see, parents are getting more busy nowadays that they need to do everything in the most efficient way. Jogging stroller will enable parents to jog and at the same time, bring their baby with them in the stroller.Jogging strollers are serious business, they cost about $200 to $400 each, and the companies who produce them are putting a lot of efforts to come up with the smartest solution. Those strollers are high-tech stuffs, they incorporate a lot of science and mechanics to make sure that the infants on them will be safe. What is even more astonishing is that some of the people who bought the strollers are actually practicing the proper technique on how to run with a stroller. I wouldn't be surprised if in the next few decades, running with strollers will become a new sport and being competed in the Olympics.I was just joking about that Olympic thing by the way. But seriously, isn't it a bit ridiculous that we need to pay hundreds of dollars for BOB double jogging stroller? Can't we just jog early in the morning and then few minutes after that we take the baby for a walk using the regular baby stroller? Or are we really that busy that we don't have the time to do both activities?I think we should seriously ask ourselves whether we really need to buy that BOB double jogging stroller. There used to be a time when people buy stuffs for their function. And function means something that will actually give contribution to our everyday life. The way I see this jogging stroller phenomenon is that people are becoming more reliant on equipments. And marketers play their cards very well, they feed us with new ideas. They show us some smart and new ways to do things, which is okay if they aren't costly. But the problem is, those new inventions are most likely expensive.I might sound negative and some of you might even accuse me of backward thinking. But keep in mind that consumerism is never a good thing. The United States is already owing more than what the country can earn, and it all started from our habit. Let us start putting some sense on our spending spree, only buy the things we really need. Everything else is a waste of money, help our country instead by saving your extra money in the bank.
